Ally is the heart and foundation of Goldenna Golden Retrievers. As my first Golden Retriever and very much my heart dog, she is the girl who inspired my journey into showing, performance sports and ultimately breeding Golden Retrievers.

Ally is an intelligent, biddable and incredibly devoted girl with an exceptional temperament. She has always been eager to work, quick to learn and happiest when doing something alongside me. Her versatility has seen her achieve success across both the conformation and performance worlds, earning her Australian Champion, Rally Novice (RN) and SprintDog Excellent (SPRD.X) titles.

In the show ring, Ally completed her Australian Champion title in 2026. Beyond the show ring, she has proven herself to be a wonderful performance dog, enjoying Rally and SprintDog and demonstrating the intelligence, enthusiasm and willingness to please that we value so highly in the breed.

Most importantly, Ally possesses the temperament that we strive to preserve within our breeding program. She is gentle, affectionate, sensible and incredibly easy to live with. As the mother of our first homebred Australian Champion and Dual Champion, Dual Ch (SPRD) Goldenna Tigers Eye JC “Captain”, Ally has played an incredibly important role in establishing the next generation of Goldenna.

Ally is now retired from the conformation show ring but will continue to enjoy performance activities and, most importantly, life as a much-loved member of our family. Whatever titles may sit before or after her name, she will always simply be my special girl, Ally. ❤️
